Barcelona Ready for Historic Match at Partially Completed Camp Nou this Saturday
Barça revealed they will play at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome the Basque side in the Spanish league 30 months since relocating so building work could begin.
“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. After final construction, it will accommodate over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.
Recent Activities
Barcelona held an open training session on the home pitch earlier this month. Officials stated they were hoping for permission from European football’s governing body to host the next European match facing Eintracht on 9 December at the stadium. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
